Engineered Source is your supplier for PTFE coated fastener needs in the Orange County, Los Angeles, and Southern California region as a whole.  Various types of coatings are available - Xylan 1000 series, 1400 series, 142X series, Teflon, Ceramic, Mil-Spec Coatings, Halar, and Dry Film Lubricants.  The right coating selection is based on environmental considerations for the parts, such as presence of different degrees of moisture, heat, chemicals, etc.  These particular parts included B7 studs measuring 3/4-10 X 3-3/4 with accompanying 3/4-10 Grade 2H heavy hex nuts.

This is a special shoulder screw to print we have supplying for a number of years, manufactured in the United States using 304 stainless steel and distributed to the customer on as needed release basis with a blanket purchase arrangement.  Lead time for an item like this based on a quantity of approximately 10,000 pieces is 8-12 weeks, with significantly shorter lead time available for a small quantity run using one of our specialty small quantity manufacturing partners.

Special machined sleeve manufactured to print - DFAR compliant & Passivated

Engineered Source is your source for hot headed, cold headed, and machined special fasteners to print like this machined sleeve.  Virtually any special material, certification, or part specific requirements can be incorporated into the process and we can assist you with your special fastener request even when small quantities are involved.  This specific part was manufactured using 304 stainless steel, passivated, and run through a water immersion test for 24 hours.  Made in USA, this special sleeve is DFAR compliant and original order quantity was for 50 pieces.

Stainless Steel Special Button Socket Screw To Print

We supplied just 15 pieces of this custom button head socket cap screw, made using 18-8 stainless steel to specifications provided by the customer.  The part measures 5/16-24 X 1 with a 1/2 dog point, with point diameter between .225 and .235.  Point length was constrained to .170-.150.  Engineered Source part number is A2300-0264.

Custom Machined PVDF Pin To Print

These special pins were individually machined to the customer's specific requirements and drawings using plastic material called PVDF.  This material is typically used for special applications requiring parts resistant to chemicals and heat, all while maintaining high levels of strength.  Since the pins are machined individually we can typically process even small quantity orders for this type of part.

Special 2/56 X 3/8 Socket Cap Screw in 18-8 Stainless Steel, Cadmium Plated

Engineered Source has supplied this part for many years on a blanket order basis - the part is a special to print socket cap screw measuring 2/56 X 3/8 and is manufactured in the United States using 18-8 stainless steel material.  Secondary service of cadmium plating with NADCAP certification is applied to finalize the cap screws for their end use.  Internal part number for this socket cap screw is SC-002006-ID.

Special 1/16 X 7/16 Coiled 302 Stainless Steel Spring Pin, DFAR Compliant

These US made spring pins are manufactured using 302 stainless steel and are available with full documentation to our customer.  They are passivated, DFAR compliant, and we get them cadmium plated (with NADCAP certification) prior to final shipment preparation.  A variety of alternative sizes and specifications are also sourced consistently.
