Custom Metric Socket Cap Screws - M2-0.4M X 6MM Socket Head Cap Screws In DFARS Compliant 303 Stainless Steel

These are M2 X 6MM DFARS compliant socket cap screws whose simplicity in look is misleading to say the least.  We were tasked to replicate our customers existing samples and the combination of the hex broach dimensions and depth together with the countersunk angle required a different approach than a standard flat socket head screw.  The part was initially made like a standard socket cap screw without the countersink, broached to required depth, and then machined down for the countersunk angle.  Finally the part was then threaded and passivated.

Custom Aluminum Standoffs - 6-32 X 4" Female/Female Round Standoffs

These are 6-32 female/female custom aluminum standoffs measuring 4 inches in overall length and tapped 3/8" deep on each end.  Outside diameter is 1/4".  Production was done overseas for optimal cost and lead time for the first release is typically at 120-140 days.  This part we supply on a revolving annual blanket release arrangement that allows our customer to spread out the cost over the year as they use the parts.

Custom 6-Lobe Socket Cap Screws - 4037 Alloy Steel Heat Treated Material

These are custom 6-lobe socket cap screws made domestically using 4037 alloy steel material.  Strength was absolutely critical to our customer and the parts were heat treated to 39-43 hrc. In the absence of an available drawing for this part we had to work off samples our customer provided for all dimensional attributes.  After confirming the material, strength, and dimensional requirements we had 1,000 pcs produced for our customer with a lead time of approximately 12 weeks from order confirmation.  Heat treat and material certs were included with the parts.

Custom Brass Inserts - 8-32 X .255" Split Lock Inserts

These are one of the custom brass inserts we supply our long time customer that had production facilities in the US and in Mexico.  We initially ran a test production cycle of 300 pieces for them to test in their assembly prior to committing for the full 10,000 pcs required in their first batch.  Plain brass material was used and the knurled outside diameter was set at .235".  Our customer was in a rush and we ran an expedited option with lead time at under 2 weeks.

Custom Electronics Standoffs In Plain Brass Material With 2-56 Thread

These are custom electronics standoffs we supplied to our customer at just 100 pcs for testing purposes.  2-56 thread was incorporated to run all the way through the part measuring 0.32" in overall length.  The thicker portion of the custom standoff measures .13 inches, with the diameter at .22 inches.  Its thinner section has a diameter of .14 inches.

Custom Small U Bolts - 1/4-20 Round U Bolts In Steel Zinc With Rolled Thread

These are custom small u bolts we supplied to our customer at approximately 16,000 pcs.  The 1/4-20 thread was rolled per customer specifications and the zinc plating was done to QQ-Z-325.  Width between the legs is set at 1.060 inches before the extended rolled thread, outside length at 1.84 inches, and thread length at .62 inches.  Material was .217-.213 diameter 1010 steel per ASTM A108.

Custom Stainless Standoffs - Male/Female In 304 Stainless Steel Material

These are custom stainless standoffs made using 304 stainless steel material in accordance with ASTM A276 and passivated to ASTM A380.  Approximately 100,000 pieces were produced domestically with full certifications.  4-40 thread was incorporated on both male and female parts, with the male part measuring .750 inches and female hex measuring .320 inches in length.  Width across the flats on the hex measures .250 inches.

Custom 316 Stainless Hex Bolts - 13/16-10 X 1.75" Hex Head Fully Threaded

These are custom 316 stainless hex bolts made domestically in the USA in 316 stainless steel material.  The thread pitch made this hex head cap screw a custom production deal, at 13/16-10 fully threaded.  The thread was rolled rather than cut and the head width across the flats was set to 1-1/8 inches, with the head height set to 15/32".  Material certs and a certificate of conformance was available upon request.

Rush Order U Bolts - 3/8 X 9" Custom Square U Bolts in 304 Stainless Steel Material

These are custom rush order u bolts made using 304 stainless steel material.  Our customer was in a huge rush and we had to get these custom square u bolts made within 2-3 days of order and shipped via next day air.  50 pieces were produced on time as promised and shipped with material certs to our customer, directly to their job site.  The inside width was set at 4 inches, inside depth at 9 inches, and approximately 2 inches of coarse thread was incorporated on each leg.

Custom Modified Socket Head Screws - M4 - 0.7 X 14MM Socket Head Captive Screw in Alloy Steel Material

These are custom modified socket head cap screws in alloy steel material.  Standard off the shelf M4-0.7 X 14MM socket head cap screws were modified to allow their use as captive screws with partial thread and modified head dimensions.  The ground shoulder area measures 8.80MM +/- 0.3MM in length and a dimater of 3.30MM +/- 0.15MM.  The head was modified to a diameter of 5.50MM +/- 0.15MM and a height of 4.0MM.  Material certs and a certificate of conformance was provided with the parts per customer's specifications.
