Custom Airframe Double Thread 17-4PH Precision Pins Manufacturers

 We had 4 different size variations of these custom airframe double thread 17-4PH precision pins manufactured for our aerospace and defense customer, with all production done domestically in the USA and the raw material DFARS compliant.  A combination of M6 X 1.0 and 10-32 UNJF rolled thread was required for each variation.  Lead time was the biggest challenge on these parts due to the rolled thread requirement and heat treat process but we managed to have all 4 parts completed within the requested timeframe.  Full certs were provided with the parts including a FAIR.

Our aerospace customer needed NAS1352N04-06 socket head screws for their assembly but with a tamperproof pin-in socket head, which is not readily available off the shelf.  We had the pictured custom tamperproof version of this NAS1352 screw manufactured domestically to fully comply with the NAS specification using DFARS compliant material, with of-course the exception of the drive type.  Parts measured 4-40 X .375" and full certs were provided with the parts.

Custom DFARS A286 Aerospace NAS Socket Head Bolts

These custom DFARS compliant NAS1352N4LE16S socket head bolts were manufactured domestically for our aerospace customer using A286 stainless steel material from France.  They measured 1/4-20 X 1" and were finished with AMS2411 Rev J silver flash plating and bake, as well as thread locking patch.  Certification with mechanical testing performed per FF-S-86 specification were absolutely critical on these parts and were included together with material certs, passivation certs, and plating certs.

Custom Metric Stainless Hex Male-Female Standoffs Manufacturers

 These custom metric stainless steel male/female hex standoffs were manufactured using 304 stainless steel material at 8MM across the flats on the hex.  M5-0.8 thread (6g thread fit) was incorporated on the male end at a length of 13MM and on the female side at an engagement depth of 12.7MM.  Parts were provided with factory passivation and material certs.

These are DFARS compliant custom A286 stainless steel castle nuts manufactured domestically in the USA for our aerospace customer.  They incorporate 7/16-26 2A thread and internal diameter of .328 +/- .005".  The cross slots measure .090 +/-.005" and unthreaded shoulders both measuring .394"+0.000/-.004 in diameter by .063" +/-.01.  Full certs including a FAIR are required as a part of the deliverable package.

These custom round head shoulder wood screws were manufactured at 10,000 pieces using 316 stainless steel material with plain finish.  The head/shoulder combination was cold headed and the thread rolled.  Shoulder dimensions were 3.8-4.0mm diameter by 5.5mm minimum in length, with the rolled thread at 15.88mm min usable thread.  It's round head was specified to 7.5mm-8.0mm diameter and 2.75mm-3.05mm height.  Material certs were supplied with the parts.

Custom 420 Stainless Precision Machined Components

These custom 420 stainless steel precision machined components were manufactured for our aerospace customer, with initial samples produced using 18-8 stainless steel for functional testing prior to full production.  Overall length was .804 +/- .005" and the flange outer diameter was set to .396" +/-.005".  Four drilled holes were incorporated at a diameter of .120" +/-.005".  Full certs with a FAIR were incorporated into the production order requirements per customer request.

These custom hex head shoulder wood screws were manufactured using mild carbon steel material with Zinc clear finish to our customers drawing.  The shoulder measures .180-.188" by .302-.322" in length, square to the rolled thread transition.  Thread length was set to .585-.645" and the hex head measured .244-.250" across the flats and .096-.115" in height.  Cold heading was used for the production process with turning down the threaded area prior to thread roll.

These custom precision machined A286 stainless steel sleeve components are manufactured domestically for an aerospace application.  Overall length is 1.5" and the sleeve incorporates 1/2-20 2A male thread and 5/16-24 2B female thread at a depth of .512".  A number of precision shoulder steps are designed into the exterior and interior of the components.  FAIR and full certs are made available with the production per customer requirements and initial fit and function test parts were manufactured using 18-8 stainless steel material.

We had tens of thousands of these custom low profile serrated flange nuts manufactured for our construction customer using Grade 5 steel material with Dacromet zinc flake finish.  1"-8 thread was tapped with 2B thread fit prior to plating and the low profile height was set to .437" max.  Flange diameter was set to 1.46-1.50", which is to standard 1" diameter flange nut specifications.  Full certs were provided with the parts, including 3rd party testing results for proof load, tensile strength, core hardness, and raw material composition.
