Custom Double Thread Type 17 Wood Screws

 

These custom double thread screws were a custom variation of hanger bolt for our construction customer - they were manufactured using 304 stainless steel material and combines an M6-1.0 machine screw thread that includes a 3MM hex socket drive with oversize type 17 point wood screw thread.  A needle sharp point was a prominent and critical feature accomplished with fine tuned point angle.  The parts were provided with factory passivated finish.

Custom Molded HDPE Threaded Spacers

 

These custom molded spacers were manufactured for our construction equipment manufacturing customer using steel zinc threaded inserts with overmolded HDPE spacers in variety of shapes and sizes.  The internal thread was set to 1/4-20 coarse thread and the molded spacers were made using injection molded HDPE material with plain finish.  The spacers ranged from 17.6MM in diameter to 40MM in diameter.

Custom Low Head Socket Screws

 

These custom low head socket screws were manufactured for our customer using 304 stainless steel material with glass bead finish to accomplish this grey color appearance.  The parts were finished with anti-seize patch application to keep the parts from seizing in our customer's application, which was experienced without the patch applied.  Partial 1/4-20 thread was rolled on these parts and the head measured 17mm in diameter by 2.2mm in height, with a 4mm recessed hex socket drive.  Full certs were provide with the parts.

Custom Vented A354 BD Socket Head Screws With Drilled Hole

 

These custom vented socket head screws were manufactured for our aerospace customer using A354 Grade BD material with MIL-DTL-13924 black oxide finish.  5/16-24 UNF was rolled to a length of .625 inches and the head was cold formed with drawing specified markings.  A hole was drilled through to vent the parts at a diameter of .152 +.004/-.001" and a .063" hole was drilled across the thread.  The drilled holes created burrs, especially at the drilled hole area on at the threaded end, which made these parts very tricky and time consuming to get perfectly right.

Custom Flat Head Breakaway Screws

 

These custom breakaway screws are manufactured domestically in the USA for our aerospace customer using 303 stainless steel material with zinc nickel plating and black topcoat.  Threebond thread locking patch is applied on the flat head screw to complete the parts.  The breakaway section also incorporates a hex socket recess drive to allow for faster and easier assembly.  The cosmetic finish on the parts is not perfect due to the top coat getting nicked during the transport and patch application process.  The high level of corrosion resistance however and mechanical properties are unaffected.

Custom Aluminum Button Socket Vented Screws

 

These custom vented button head screws were manufactured for our automotive trailer manufacturing customer using 6061 aluminum material with 10-32 cut thread measuring .313 inches in length below the head.  Certs were included with the parts.

Custom ASTM A564 Socket Shoulder Bolts

 

These custom ASTM A564 Gr 630 H1150 socket head shoulder bolts were manufactured for our energy sector OEM customer using DFARS compliant raw material with the final parts age hardened at 1150F to achieve28-37 HRC.  The parts were fully machined with 3/8-16 UNC-2A cut thread and .375" across the flats hex recess.  The head measured .750" in diameter and .460" in height.  Overall length of the part underneath the head measured 2.75 +/-.010.  Full certs were provided with the parts.

Custom Oval Head Shoulder Screws

 

These custom oval head shoulder screws were manufactured for our electronics customer using 18-8 stainless steel material with partial rolled thread and a 12.5 degree tapered point to allow for faster installation times.  The 1/4-20 UNC 2B rolled thread was set to a length of 1.000" and the overall length under the head was at 2.500".  The head diameter was dialed in to .370" and head height to .170", with a cold formed #3 phillips drive.  Full certs were provided with the parts.

Custom Grade 5 Flat Head Wood Screws

 

These custom wood screws were manufactured using Grade 5 10B21 steel material with electro zinc + clear finish.  They were heat treated to achieve HRC 25-33 hardness prior to the plating process.  The partial thread was rolled and the overall length of the screw inclusive of the slotted flat head was set to 4 inches.

Custom Automotive Alloy Steel T-bolts

 

These custom T-bolts and shoulder T-bolts were manufactured for our automotive customer using AISI 4140 alloy steel material with commercial black oxide finish.  1/4-20 thread was rolled on both versions pictured here and the overall length under the head ranges from 1.075" to 1.200".  Full certs were available with the parts.
