These are custom 6-lobe socket cap screws made domestically using 4037 alloy steel material. Strength was absolutely critical to our customer and the parts were heat treated to 39-43 hrc. In the absence of an available drawing for this part we had to work off samples our customer provided for all dimensional attributes. After confirming the material, strength, and dimensional requirements we had 1,000 pcs produced for our customer with a lead time of approximately 12 weeks from order confirmation. Heat treat and material certs were included with the parts.
Large quantities of these custom made 6-lobe socket cap screws would be best supplied on a 12 month blanket purchase order basis. The Blanket Order concept allows the customer to access the large quantity cost savings without paying upfront for the entire large quantity order. Instead we take on the burden of carrying the bulk inventory and only release the parts as needed, or often on a pre-scheduled basis provided by the customer.
