Custom 4340 Alloy Steel Dowel Pins - Aerospace Applications

 

These custom 4340 alloy steel dowel pins were produced domestically at a bit over 3,000 pieces for an aerospace application.  The raw material was to be per AMS 6414 or AMS 6409 and the pins measure .1179 +0.0000/-.0004 by .400 +/- .0030.  Full certs were provided with the material, including material certs, certificate of conformance, and a FAIR.  Parts were released over a 12 month period using a blanket purchase order agreement.
