Custom Combo Drive Machine Screws - 10-32 X 3/8 Phil/Slot Pan Head M/S In Steel Zinc

These are custom combo drive machine screws measuring 10-32 X 3/8.  They are manufactured domestically using steel zinc material with production runs typically at 200,000 to 250,000.  We stock and release this part to our long time OEM customer with revolving annual blanket purchase orders.

Special to Print Undercut Flat Head Machine Screw in 4037 Steel

This is a special 1/4-28 X .571 dime slotted undercut flat head machine screw manufactured by a US based manufacturer we have worked closely with for more than two decades, made using 4037 steel and further processed with glass bead and rust inhibitor for optimal performance in our customer's application.  Parts like this typically carry a lead time of 6-10 weeks, depending on the secondary services involved and the quantity required.

Modified Truss Self Tapping Special Screw to Print

Some years ago our customer approached us with the task of creating this self piercing screw for a specialized assembly application.  It has since become a consistent item we carry to ensure adequate supply for their need at all times.  The part is a modified truss head self tapping type A screw, with a phillips drive.  Measuring 9-9 X 1-5/8 in length this part is a special screw manufactured to print using 18-8 stainless steel, followed by a passivation process.

Custom Flanged Bronze Bearing

Flanged bronze bearing SAE 841 part made to print as a matching component to the 7/8 X .540 X 3/4-16 socket shoulder bolt.  It's inside diameter is 7/8" and outside diameter measures 1-1/8".  The inside surface area is intended to join with the shoulder of the bolt.

Special Shoulder Bolt To Be Coupled With Bronze Bearing

This custom shoulder bolt was made to print for our customer and measures 7/8 X .540 X 3/4-16.  18-8 stainless steel was used to produce the parts at a domestic US manufacturing plant.  It was intended to work in unison with the flanged bronze bearing manufactured to print for the same customer.  That part is shown in greater detail in the consequent blog post.

Invar 36 1/4-20 X 1-1/4 Socket Cap Screws

We were presented with the challenge of having custom 12 socket cap screws made out of Invar 36 material to a provided print in a relatively short period of time, which is essentially a 36% nickel iron alloy material, with matching finished hex nuts.  This material is typically used for applications where dimensional properties must be maintained across a broad range of temperatures.  We were able to have the parts produced and delivered within 3 weeks of order date.  While in this specific case no certifications were required, various documentation would have been available to the customer if requested and required.
