Custom Low Profile Socket Head Screws in Stainless Steel

 These custom low profile socket head screws were manufactured using 304 stainless steel material for our gun product manufacturing customer and were also provided with black oxide finish.  Full 10-32 thread was rolled at a length of .75" below the cold forged head.  Parts were provided with full certs per our customer's requirements.

Custom Low Profile Socket Head Screws - 302 Stainless Steel With 6 Lobe Drive

These custom low profile socket head screws with a  6-lobe (torx) drive were manufactured domestically using 302 stainless steel material with a commercial passivated plain finish.  5,000 pieces of two sizes were produced: M10 - 1.5M X 65MM with a T-45 drive size and M8 - 1.25M X 65MM with a T-30 drive size.  26-30MM of thread was incorporated on the larger version and 22-25MM on the smaller diameter part.  The low profile & 6-lobe drive combination is relatively tricky, especially for these larger diameters as additional controls in tooling are required to avoid flowering on the outside profile of the head.

Custom Low Profile Torx Machine Screws - 18-8 Stainless Steel

These custom low profile torx machine screws were manufactured domestically using 18-8 stainless steel material, at production volume of approximately 5,500 pieces.  T10 size 6 lobe drive was incorporated and the head diameter at .262" +/-.01" and head height at .263" +/-.01.  6-32 thread was selected for the .185" of thread, followed by a lead point measuring .090" +.000/-.002 in diameter and .050" +.020/-.000 in length.  Parts were passivated per MIL QQ-P-35 Type II to complete the production process.
