Custom Black Nickel Socket Captive Screws

 

These custom captive screws were manufactured using 18-8 stainless steel material for our defense customer and provided with black nickel plating and 180 degree nylon thread locking patch.  6-32 thread was rolled to a length of .188" and the .095 X .187 captive shoulder machined underneath the cold formed socket head.  Full certs were provided with the parts.

Custom 4-40 Extra Long Stainless Socket Head Screws

 

These custom extra long socket head screws were manufacture using 18-8 stainless steel material with commercial passivation finish.  The hex socket drive and the socket head were cold formed and partial 4-40 thread was rolled at a length of approximately 3/4".  Overall length under the head was set to 4-3/4".

Custom Grade 8 Shoulder Bolts

 

These custom shoulder bolts were manufactured to SAE J429 grade 8 requirements for our automotive customer with a black oxide finish.  .57" by .25" shoulder was incorporated under the .5" across the flats hex head and approximately .625" of 3/8-16 thread was rolled to complete the parts.  Certs were available with the parts per customer requirements.

Custom Domestic Metric Precision Shoulder Screws

 

These custom precision shoulder screws were manufactured domestically in the USA using A2 stainless steel material with commercial passivation.  The shoulder measures 5MM in diameter by 35MM in length with M5 X 0.8MM rolled thread after the thread relief.  The parts were domestically manufactured in the USA using DFARS compliant A2 stainless steel material and were supplied with full certs.

Custom Metric Stainless Steel Knurled Thumb Screws

 

These custom metric knurled thumb screws were manufactured for our aerospace customer using A2 stainless steel material with matte black oxide finish.  Approximately 5MM of male M3 X 0.5 thread was rolled on these parts and the shoulder measured 6MM in diameter by 5MM in length.  Aggressive straight knurl was applied to the parts at 0.8 PH.  Full certs were provided with the parts.

Custom Stainless & Brass Precision Ball Studs

 

These custom precision machined ball studs were manufactured for our gun manufacturing customer using 303 stainless steel material and brass material.  Male thread on both material options was rolled at #10-40 in variety of lengths per customer's requirements and the internal thread on the ball was set to #12-40.  Overall length of the part ranges from 13.5MM to 16.5MM.  Full certs were available with the parts.

Custom Long Socket Set Screws in Stainless Steel

 

These custom long cup point set screws were manufactured for our aerospace customer using 304 stainless steel material with a cold formed hex socket drive and rolled 1/4-20 or #10-24 thread.  The lengths vary from 3 to 4 inches and only commercial passivation was needed to complete the parts.

Custom Grade 5 Zinc Plated Solid Spacers

 

These custom solid spacers were manufactured for our electronics OEM customer using mild carbon steel material with zinc clear finish.  The inside diameter was set to .328" and the outside diameter of the spacers were machined to 1.00".  Full certs were provided with the parts per customer requirements.

Custom Large M45 Metric Nylon Insert Lock Nuts

 

These custom M45 X 1.5 internal thread nylon insert lock nuts were manufactured for our EV automotive customer in Class 8 material with zinc nickel plated finish.  The custom lock nuts were designed to a 65MM across the flats dimension and overall height of 17.5MM.  Full certs and level 3 PPAP documentation was provided with the parts.

Custom Low Profile Stainless Flat Head Bolts

 

We supplied our customer these low profile hex socket drive "hurricane bolts" in three different lengths: 1/4-20 X 45MM, 1/4-20 X 30MM, and 1/4-20 X 70MM.  18-8 stainless steel material was used on all lengths with commercial passivation.  The rolled thread length was set to 20MM and remained the same on all three options, with the balance being unthreaded shoulder.  Full certs were provided with the parts per customer requirements.  

Custom Automotive Metric J Nuts

 These custom J nuts were manufactured for our EV automotive customer using class 10.9 steel material with a M8 internally threaded hex nut laser welded prior to zinc nickel electroless coating application.  We initially attempted to have the parts produced using the butt welding method but that process was creating issues on the internal thread fit so we ended up switching to the laser welding method instead.  Full paperwork and level 3 PPAP documentation was provided with the parts to comply with our customer's requirements.  

Custom Stainless Steel Locking Tee Nuts

 

These custom locking tee nuts were manufactured using 304 stainless steel material and were offered in both plain and glass bead blast finish.  It took a few tooling adjustments to finally get the locking tooth feature just right and they are internally threaded all the way through with 1/4-20 thread.  The outside diameter of the flange is set to 19MM and overall height to 12MM.  Full certs were provided with the parts.

Metric Custom Long Socket Head Screws

 

These custom socket head screws were manufactured to our customer's drawing with a long length of 289MM under the head, with half of the length threaded with rolled thread.  The screws were made to class 8.8 specification with a standard hex socket drive and coarse M6 diameter thread.  Material certs were available with the parts per our customer requirements.

Custom Automotive Black E-Coat Shaft Collars

 

These custom automotive shaft collars were manufactured using Grade 5 steel material to an outside diameter of 71MM, width of 19MM, and gap of 5MM.  M8 - 1.25 thread was tapped on both sides for the socket head assembly bolts.  The shaft collars were finished with black color E-coating and individually packaged for optimal protection in transit.  Full level 3 PPAP documentation was provided with the parts per our customer's requirements.

Custom Tempered Steel OEM Stamped & Bent Brackets

 

These custom stamped brackets were manufactured using tempered .063" thick steel sheet material for our specialty OEM customer.  A number of features were incorporated, from .126" diameter round openings to 4-40" thread tapped holes.  Overall length was 1.45" and the brackets were finished with black oxide (commercial spec) prior to packaging.  Full certs were provided with the parts.

Custom Internally Threaded Stainless Ball Studs

 

These custom internally threaded stainless steel ball studs were manufactured using 303 stainless steel material with 12-40 internal thread inside the ball stud and also 10-24 external thread rolled on the male portion.  Three different length variations on the male thread length were produced per our customer's requirements.  Full certs were available with the parts.

Custom A286 Stainless Domestic Hex Nuts

 

These custom 1/4-20 A286 stainless steel hex nuts were manufactured domestically for our aerospace/drone manufacturing customer.  DFARS compliant material was used for the production and the hex nuts were made to a 7/16 across the flats specification and 7/32 in height.  Full certs were provided with the parts. 

Custom Grade 5 Hex Bolt, Nut, and Washer Kits

 

These custom automotive fastener kits included grade 5 5/16-24 partial thread hex bolts, split lock washers, and grade 5 hex nuts.  All parts were black oxide finished prior to poly bagging into individual kits per our customer's specifications.  All certs were available with the parts and standard description labels were used on all poly bags.

Custom Domestic Stainless Steel Wave Washers

 

These custom 3-wave washers were manufactured domestically in the USA using DFARS compliant 301 stainless steel material.  The outside diameter was set to 1.325" and the inside diameter to .975".  Raw material thickness was at 0.05" +/-.015.  Full certs were provided with the parts for our aerospace customer.

Custom Music Wire Torsion Springs

 

These custom torsion springs were manufactured using .090 diameter music wire material with .80-.95% carbon content and 230-399 ksi tensile strength.  Both legs measured 4.45" center to center with a 120 degree angle.  Zinc clear finish was applied to finish the parts for the architectural assembly application.
