Production typically runs in batches of 10,000 pieces per run and the finish is thermal black oxide. Full certs are available with the parts upon request.
We supplied our automotive manufacturing customer these custom hardened dowel pins in SAE 52100 steel material, heat treated to reach 81.0 - 83.5 HRA. The diameter was ground to 7.000MM +/- .005MM and the length was set to 32.0MM +/- 0.2MM. The pins were manufactured domestically in the USA and full certs were provided with the shipment.
