Custom Shoulder Bolts For Gun Manufacturer - .185 X .500 Black Oxide

 

We had approximately 120,000 pieces of these custom shoulder bolts manufactured domestically in the USA for our gun manufacturing customer.  The shoulder measured .185 X 1/2 and 8-32 thread was rolled.  To save on cost we incorporated a convex relief underneath the head in leu of a machined relief, allowing us to complete the entire head portion with cold heading.  The shoulder was centerless ground to a +/-.001 diameter tolerance and we also made sure to meet the .127/.125 across flats requirement on the 1/8 hex socket drive, which was a critical feature for optimal key engagement.  Full certs were provided with the parts.

Custom Large Metric 12.9 Socket Head Bolts - M90 X 495MM

 

These are custom large metric class 12.9 socket head bolts manufactured domestically for our utilities customer at 92 pieces.  M90 X 4 thread was incorporated at thread length of 120MM.  The shoulder dimeter was set to 84.3MM at a length of 290MM.  

Custom 6-Lobe (Torx Alternative) Shoulder Screws in 416 Stainless Steel

 

We had these custom 6-lobe shoulder screws manufactured in 416 stainless steel in the USA for our electronics customer.  DFARS compliant material was used and the parts were heat treated to achieve 26-32 RC.  The 6-lobe drive (T10 size) was made using a combination of broaching and punch, allowing us to bypass cold forming that carries a much longer lead time in our current conditions.  The shoulder measures .13" X .500" in length and the threaded portion is #4-40 with a minimal undercut.  Full certs were included with the parts per our customers requirements.

Custom Oval Point Set Screws - Metric

 

We had 18,000 pieces of these metric custom oval point set screws manufactured for our renewable energy customer in the United Kingdom.  304 stainless steel material was used and all production was done domestically in the USA.  Overall length was set to .384-.404 inches and the oval point was done with a .120 radius.  4MM x 0.7 thread was cut with 6g thread fit and a .0795-.0805" hex socket drive was broached.  Lead time for production was approximately 10 weeks.

Custom Injection Molded Plastic Spacers For Construction

 

We supply our construction customer hundreds of thousands of these custom injection molded plastic spacers in a variety of sizes and colors.  Recycled material is used for both the grey and black version shown here and both have a width of 15MM but all over dimensions vary.  The larger grey spacer has an ID of 18.4MM and OD of 52.7MM while the black spacer has an ID of 11.125MM and OD of 48.72MM.  Both parts are supplied through multiple releases from 12 month blanket purchase agreements established with our customer.

Custom Metric 316 Stainless Shoulder Bolts

 

We had 24,000 pieces of these custom metric 316 stainless shoulder bolts manufactured for our design and construction customer.  The shoulder measured 4MM by 3MM and M3 X 0.5MM thread was incorporated at 5MM in length, including the relief shoulder transition.  Head diameter was at 6MM and a 2MM hex socket drive was cold formed.  

Custom Cold Headed Screws With Black Nitride Finish

 

We get these custom cold headed screws with black nitride finish manufactured 100% domestically for our gun manufacturing customer using 302 stainless steel material.  1/4-28 partial thread is rolled to .75" in length and overall length is set to 1.695".  Black nitride finish was added at 980 to 1050 degrees and effective case thickness of .0005 to .0020".  Full certs were provided with the parts and we release through multiple shipments per an annual Blanket Purchase Agreement we have with our customer.

Custom Automotive 12 Point Bolts - Grade 8

 

We had these custom automotive 12 point bolts manufactured for our aftermarket automotive customer in batches of 20,000-40,000 pieces using 4140 alloy steel material to Grade 8 specifications.  The bolts were finished with either Geomet or Zinc Aluminum and were combined with a Nitrile 70A o-ring to provide a "sealing" effect.  7/16-20 thread was rolled on the part and a .365" X .725" point was incorporated with .125" radius.  The 12 point flange head was cold formed to a height of .350".  Full certs were available with the parts and Level 3 PPAP as well.

Custom M18 Stainless Steel Hex Nuts

 

These custom M18 stainless steel hex nuts were manufactured using 304 stainless steel material with a 1.5 6H thread pitch.  The across the flats dimension tolerance was at 26.16MM-27MM and the thickness at 8.42MM-9MM.  Standard chamfers were incorporated on the corners and full certs provided to comply with our customer's requirements.

Custom Countersunk Double End Studs - 304 Stainless Steel

 

We had 5,000 pieces of these custom countersunk double end studs manufactured for our customer that specializes in frozen drink equipment production.  304 stainless steel material was used and the thread was cut on both sides.  Overall length was 41.66MM +/- 0.5 and both threaded sides incorporated 5/16-18 2A thread, at 10.16MM and 15.24MM in length accordingly.  At the maximum diameter point the countersunk shoulder reaches 11.18MM +/-0.2.
