Custom Large Square Washers - 3" X 3" In A36 Material

A washer the size of these custom large square washers is typically destined for construction applications so we were surprised to get a request to get them made by our aerospace customer.  200 pieces were manufactured domestically measuring 3" by 3" by .5" thickness, using A36 steel material with zinc plating per ASTM B633, SC2, Type 1.  The inside opening had to be machined to a diameter of 1.06" +/- .01".  All sharp edges had to be broken to .010-.030".  Certifications for the material characteristics and the zinc plating was provided with the parts.

Large quantities of these custom made oversize washers would be best supplied on a 12 month blanket purchase order basis.  The Blanket Order concept allows the customer to access the large quantity cost savings without paying upfront for the entire large quantity order. Instead we take on the burden of carrying the bulk inventory and only release the parts as needed, or often on a pre-scheduled basis provided by the customer.
