These custom 6-lobe socket head screws were manufactured domestically using 4140 alloy steel material with heat treat to 42-47 HRC. 2A 6-48 UNS thread was incorporated with thread length at .375". T15 6-lobe drive was cold formed and the thread rolled. This part is almost identical with the .200" length version discussed in an earlier post. Full certs were provided with the parts per our customer's requirements.
Large quantities of these custom made 6-lobe socket head screws would be best supplied on a 12 month blanket purchase order basis. The Blanket Order concept allows the customer to access the large quantity cost savings without paying upfront for the entire large quantity order. Instead we take on the burden of carrying the bulk inventory and only release the parts as needed, or often on a pre-scheduled basis provided by the customer.
