These custom dual shoulder screws were manufactured domestically using 316 stainless steel material with plain finish for our medical device customer. M4-0.7 thread was incorporated at the end of the custom screw with a ball point. Two raised shoulders were incorporated with the outside diameter of both at .153 +/- .005" - the captive areas between the shoulders were set to an outside diameter of .133 +/- .005". The head measured .270" X .198" with a standard slotted drive.
Large quantities of these custom made dual shoulder screws would be best supplied on a 12 month blanket purchase order basis. The Blanket Order concept allows the customer to access the large quantity cost savings without paying upfront for the entire large quantity order. Instead we take on the burden of carrying the bulk inventory and only release the parts as needed, or often on a pre-scheduled basis provided by the customer.
